We wish to make your time in Palm Cove as refreshing & easy-going as the lifestyle of Tropical Far North Queensland itself. Our small and friendly reception team are here to help you with any advice you require.
Our Reception Hours are:
Monday to Friday 8.00am – 6.00pm
Saturday and Sunday 8:00am – 1:00pm
PUBLIC HOLIDAYS 8:30am – 1:00pm
If you are not familiar with the Queensland style of self-catering apartments, we provide the space and facilities to allow you to do your own thing. You have the essentials for very short stays, with extras available for a small fee or make yourself right at home with a visit to the supermarket.
Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. Baggage may be left with us at reception if your transfer is after this time. Late check-out may be booked where available for an extra fee.
We pride ourselves on our clean rooms and request that you leave your unit tidy, dishes done and rubbish removed to assist the hard working housekeeping staff. We reserve the right to charge for excessive cleaning time well above standard.

Keys: please remember your keys. After hours lock-out or lost keys incur a call-out fee of $50.00 and we’d prefer to see you spend that on a good dinner. Any key that is lost or not returned at time of checkout will be charged $395.00. A deposit is placed on your account. For after-hours key return please drop key into the slot at end of reception desk.
Noise: Courtyards, Café, and pool areas are meant to be enjoyed in the tropics, but from 9pm please respect others by observing your activities. From 10pm we ask that dinner parties etc. return indoors behind a closed patio door. Occupants who have their patio doors and windows closed but are still disturbed by your activities have a valid right to call after-hours security. A call-out fee of $50.00 will be charged to the offending room.
Insects: we are surrounded by World Heritage listed rainforest so wildlife has a habit of saying hello despite the best efforts of our pest controller. Keep bench tops free of food and dirty dishes to deter insects.
Air-conditioning: At the entrance to your room, please SLIDE the green card down into the slot just inside your door for power to the Air-Conditioning, please leave the cards in the room. Air-Conditioning is at a set temperature, if you wish to have it set cooler/warmer, please contact Reception.
Maintenance: call us if you want something tended to. Non-urgent, dial 9. After hours emergency, dial 1001.
Airport Transfers and Tours: can be arranged, at least 48 hours prior to departure time. For information about tours please contact reception or click HERE for the link to be able to book yourself.
POOLS: Our 4 swimming pools are open from 7.00am to 9.00pm. NO GLASS, NO DIVING, JUMPING AND RUNNING IS PERMITTED IN THE POOL AREA.
BBQ AREA: Electric BBQ’s are available behind the café area. Please use them at your leisure but after use turn them off, clean them and dispose of any rubbish ready for the next person to use. The lights in the Café will stay on till 9:30pm for you to enjoy the space in the evening.
Smoking Area: There is a designated smoking area located in the Car Park adjacent to the front pool and BBQ area.
THIS IS A NO SMOKING RESORT. NO SMOKING in POOL Area, STAIRWELLS, CAFE area, INSIDE or OUTSIDE of the apartments.

Café: Currently closed until the 12th of December.
Wellness Spa: Bookings are essential to see what is available please contact reception or click HERE.
Housekeeping: Our apartments and Hotel rooms are not serviced daily. However if you stay for longer than 6 nights your room will be given a Mid-week Service. Charges do apply for any additional linen required. Pool towels are not supplied to your room. They can be hired from reception for $5.00 per towel.
NOTE: Rooms not left in a satisfactory state on departure may incur additional cleaning charges.
WIFI: Complimentary in your room and throughout the resort.
Community Scheme – Mango Lagoon Resort is a strata tiled complex and all residents & guests are required to comply with the By-Laws of the Body Corporate. The By-Laws of Mango Lagoon Resort can be consulted HERE.
UMBRELLAS: These are available from reception. A bond of $25 is posted to your room account and removed upon return to reception.
