Mango Lagoon Resort has had to take the painful decision to close our beautiful swimming pools and our Spa, in full compliance with QLD Health directives from the 31st of March, but our tropical gardens are still available to our guests and residents!
We are still welcoming guests in the Resort, and if you are in need for a place to stay for a little longer, we are happy to offer some great rental options for our 1 Bedroom and 2 Bedroom fully self-contained luxurious apartments, with even more discounted rent if paid upfront (12 weeks stays maximum).
Should you need to enter into a 14 days local quarantine, Mango Lagoon Resort will offer heavy discount on the direct rates to help you isolating, alone or in family.
Our Cafe has suspended its operations but is ready to resume, should you need room service, for breakfast, lunch and dinner take-away during your stay.
Palm Cove is quiet, but our weather is perfect if you're looking for a peaceful retreat !
Reception hours are now reduced to 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and will operate without contact through a phone system explained on our front-desk. Saturdays are 10A:00 AM - 1:00 PM, and Sundays are closed. Each of our guests will be communicated a mobile number to contact the management and arrange for any needs, or in case of emergency, 7 days out of 7.

In accordance with recent Government directives in response to slowing the spread of COVID-19, Mango Lagoon Resort facilities is experiencing temporary changes to operating times and/or services provided.
At this stage:
Outside of these working hours, the management will leave a mobile phone number on the Reception desk and each guests in house will have the information directly provided in-house.

To our valued past, present and future guests.
With the recent developments in the spread of COVID-19, we wanted to reach out to you with regards to what we are doing here at Mango Lagoon Resort to support you and your travel plans.
We have always taken great pride in maintaining an extremely high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. We wanted to reassure you that in addition to this already high standard, we have also implemented a number of additional cleaning measures in our public areas and guest apartments. These measures include, but are not limited to, increased frequency to the cleaning of our public areas such as our reception, swimming pools and BBQ facilities. Additional apartment cleaning measures have been implemented including additional disinfecting of high-touch areas.
In addition, we would like to take the opportunity to update you on the current situation within Palm Cove. Palm Cove is business as usual with tours, restaurants, cafes and shops currently mostly operating as normal. The only current changes are the closure of Mossman Gorge Centre (currently until 31 March 2020) and the Skyrail reducing their days of operation from 7 days down to 5 days (Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri, Sat).
We have a supermarket within two minutes of drive from Palm Cove that is well appointed and a large Shopping Center just 10 minutes drive south, towards Cairns. To date the only supply issues within the supermarkets relate to toilet paper which thankfully is not a concern for our guests as this is provided in your stay!
